What's included in our insurance cover?

As a signed up and registered Carer / Support Worker with Kynd, you have access to our Care Protection insurance, with every eligible care visit booked with Kynd, every time. It's included. While you're unlikely to experience any need for this, this policy exists for you. If you would like further info, get in touch with us. 

For bookings made by Kynd, you will be protected from third party claims from a Member, in the unlikely event that a Member experiences personal injury or property damage caused by you, during a visit by you. 

How the Insurance Works?

Kynd has partnered with Ansvar, a care industry specialist and the trusted name in aged care and disability support insurance in Australia since 1961. Your insurance coverage for visits paid using Kynd now includes:

$20 million Public Liability
$20 million Product Liability
$5 million Medical Malpractice

You won’t have any insurance coverage for any bookings or payments that are made with any Member outside of Kynd's Platform. The insurance provided is also subject to our Terms of Service. See all FAQs

As an independent contractor, you're naturally always welcome to get any extra insurance you desire. 

In addition to the coverage included by Kynd, some Carers and Support Workers optionally choose to arrange, or already have, additional private insurance policies or extra coverage within their superannuation funds, to cover themselves, for income protection, total and permanent disability or other insurances. 

Kynd is not responsible for any damages or losses of personal belongings.
